Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order online or over the phone.

Last updated: 2026 These terms apply to orders placed with Ginger Tandoori.
01

Acceptance of Conditions

Ordering with us constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions, which take effect when you first access the site or phone us. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must not place an order via the internet or over the phone. You can access our full menu and order from us through this website, and all orders are subject to these conditions.

02

Cancellation

Once your order has been placed, we begin preparing it straight away. If you wish to cancel your order, please call us within 5 minutes of placing the original order to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests should be made by phone rather than email.

As your order is perishable, a cooling-off period for cancellation does not apply.

03

Allergies

We cannot guarantee that any of our foods are free from nuts, nut derivatives, or other ingredients that may cause allergies or allergic reactions. We cook dishes from scratch, so a wide range of ingredients are present in our kitchen.

If you have allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us before placing your order.

04

Delivery Times

We aim to deliver your order to the address provided within approximately 45–60 minutes. During busy periods, delivery may take longer. Where possible, we will notify you before ordering if we expect delays.

If circumstances outside our direct control delay your delivery, we will do our best to keep you updated.

05

Minimum Order & Delivery Charges

We have a minimum order value of £15. If delivery charges apply, we will notify you during the order process, whether you order online or over the phone.

06

Address Details

You agree to provide a valid postcode, full address, and contact telephone number with your order. If incorrect details are provided, we may be unable to deliver within any previously stated timescale.

You agree not to withhold payment where delivery was affected because incorrect address or contact details were provided.

07

Order Confirmation

We reserve the right to cancel your order if we are unable to contact you by phone or email after the order has been placed. This helps protect us against fraudulent or hoax orders.

In some circumstances, such as exceptionally large orders, we may request a deposit before confirming your order. If you order online or over the phone, the total price will be confirmed before the order is completed.

08

Catchment Area & Delivery Times

If you are outside our stated delivery area, we may be unable to deliver within the usual delivery time. If in doubt, please call us before placing your order so we can provide an estimated delivery time.

09

Website Photos & Pictures

Food photographs on this website are for illustration and serving suggestion purposes only. The dishes delivered to you may differ from the photos shown. Some images may represent generic ingredients or presentation ideas.

10

Food Descriptions & Ingredients

Dish descriptions on the website are intended to describe the item in question. Where certain ingredients are unavailable or out of stock, our chefs may use suitable replacements.

If you are unsure about the ingredients, contents, or packaging of any dish, please call and discuss this with our staff before ordering.

“Home-made” means created and cooked from scratch by us. “Fresh” means not frozen or tinned. “(v)” indicates a dish without meat or fish. If food colouring is used, we use it in line with applicable food additive regulations.

11

Portion Sizes

We generally use standard 500ml takeaway containers for dishes. We reserve the right to use alternative packaging, but portion sizes will be equivalent. Some dishes may settle during delivery.

12

Contract

When placing an order, you are entering into a contract with Ginger Tandoori for the delivery or collection of your order.

13

Liability

We will not be liable for any claims or losses, including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, economic, or consequential loss or damage, whether arising in contract, negligence, or other action connected with the use of this site or information provided by email or other communication methods.

14
